On Monday, 8th Graders Katie and Raul volunteered their time to design the photo booth. They decided to use the blue background props from last year’s play. They even found a school logo that was painted in 1995! (see photo in the above tweet) The back of the wooden “Stand Proud Colts” logo was full of messages from the student artists of yesteryear. To read a few of those messages, please read the school Facebook post.
On Tuesday, Mr. Reed, our woodshop teacher, helps us prepare those props by attaching the removable stands. Katie, the lone trooper, returned Tuesday afternoon to clean the props and give me directions as to where the photo booth would be placed. Mr. Moncier and Mr. Porcho also took her orders. I don’t see she is used to so much power!
Now the photo release forms are ready and the photo booth is in the cafeteria next to the balloon welcome arch. Four returning 8th Grade yearbook students will arrive at 7 am to set up the booth for parents and their students.
This will be a remarkable year! I can’t wait to see our new students!
