I mentioned in yesterday’s blog that I was updating the Sharing Photos section after a school site admin suggested a similar training at the beginning of the school year. I did this not just for just her, but also for my new yearbook students who will need updated directions. I am also designing an online course called “Create a yearbook in Google Slides.” Please contact me if you are interested in taking the class. I will email you when it becomes available.
The benefit of being a classroom teacher is that my students teach me. Last summer I updated the SlidesYearbook website. This included adding a special section about sharing photos. The previous directions were solid but last #ComptonJHS yearbook students made them better. I love learning from students!
A day after I started updating the Sharing Photos and Google Photos pages, I am still updating them! If you were to visit those pages today or tomorrow, you would see multiple “photo to be added” comments and labeled blank directions. No worries, I will work every available hour until they are done! Just be aware that this week I work a total of 40 hours for three different organizations! This week alone, I will present Graphic Design in Google Slides I three different times at three different locations. I will also present 7 other presentations with my #teamBCSD #teamTech colleagues.
