Staff Code of Conduct
š STANDARD:
(CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.7.1 or SL.8.1): Engage effectively in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, teacher-led) with diverse partners on grade-level topics, texts, and issues, building on others’ ideas and expressing their own clearly.
šÆ LEARNING INTENTION:
I will read and discuss the expectations of the Yearbook & Journalism Staff Code of Conduct so I understand what it means to represent our program professionally, and I will commit to those expectations by signing the contract.
ā
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
- I can identify the specific behaviors that count as a violation of the Code of Conduct.
- I can explain, in my own words, why staff are held to a higher standard than other students.
- I can discuss with my peers why each category of expectation protects the program, our equipment, and the people we photograph.
- I can sign the contract with my parent/guardian, showing I understand and accept these expectations.
