Photography Kick Off
š STANDARD:
(CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RST.6-8.3): Follow precisely a multistep procedure when performing technical tasks, managing equipment, and executing protocols.
šÆ LEARNING INTENTION:
I will master the Yearbook camera check-out protocol, battery and SanDisk management stations, and basic camera operation so I can capture both “good” and “bad” practice photos responsibly on campus.
ā
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
- I can successfully complete the checkout form and follow strict handling rules (no friends, teacher notifications, proper return protocol).
- I know how to navigate the battery and SanDisk stations using the red and green sticky-note box system.
- I can set the Canon EOS camera dial to the green A+ mode or video mode for initial practice.
- I can complete the first hands-on photo challenge by intentionally taking both low-impact (“bad”) and high-impact (“good”) photos to understand composition.
